Providing Care
Caregivers support clients with activities of daily living (ADL): bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility โ always respecting dignity and privacy.
Infection Control & Safety
Handwashing is the single most effective way to prevent infection. Follow standard precautions and dispose of waste properly.
Wash hands before and after every client contact, for at least 20 seconds.

Report abnormal vital signs immediately โ do not wait.
Handwashing Steps
Wet โ soap โ scrub all surfaces 20s โ rinse โ dry. Hand hygiene is the #1 way to break the chain of infection.
Use gloves for body fluids, but gloves do NOT replace handwashing.
